(TOMS RIVER, NJ) – Registration is underway for the January 7 launch of the Ocean County Library’s new One Book OCL Online Book Club, a free online forum for discussions about books. Ocean County Library card holders and non-holders are eligible to participate. Cardholders can download digital versions via Library Freading®, OverDrive® and threshing® services, or reserve print or audio versions.
In partnership with the Ocean County Library, Library Ideas, a creator of digital services for libraries; and Professional Book Club Guru, which supports lifelong learning. Professional PBC Guru moderators will facilitate discussions and post articles.
Book Club members can participate anywhere they have Internet access, on days and times that suit them. The titles will be in discussion for approximately two months each.
The first selection will be An american wedding by Tayari Jones. A masterpiece of storytelling, this moving love story is a deeply insightful look into the hearts and minds of three people who are both linked and separated beyond their control.
