The Superior Public Library Adult Book Club meets on Thursday, November 18 to discuss âEverything I’ve Never Said To Youâ by Celeste Ng, a captivating page-turn and sensitive family portrait that reveals the ways whose mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, and husbands and wives struggle, all their lives, to understand each other. Join us on Thursday, November 18 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for our Crafty Kids Program, a free monthly craft program especially for kids. We are going to make an autumn photo frame. All supplies will be provided and no registration is required.
Celebrate a day off with Children’s Book Bingo at 2 p.m. on November 24. You could win fun prizes including books, candy, and small toys. No registration required.
The holiday season is almost here. Come to the Friends of the Library Merry Little Christmas Book Sale and get some goodies for the book lovers on your list. This sale features like-new books, perfect for gift giving. The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 3 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on December 4. The mask will be compulsory during the sale.
The library will be closed November 25-28 for the Thanksgiving vacation. We will reopen at 10 a.m. on November 29.
Our public toilets are getting a makeover. From mid-November, our public toilets will be under construction and inaccessible to the public. The Senior Center across from the library, 1527 Tower Ave., has restrooms that library patrons can use Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Masks are required at the Senior Center.
