Concerts on the lawn, summer reading program and more!


We have a very exciting month ahead at Brookfield Library!

You may have noticed our door and window replacement project. We are still open for business, however, we will be closed on Sunday June 5th. Also, Sunday June 12 will be the last Sunday we will be open for the summer. On this day, come experience our special June 16th celebration featuring African dance and song.

You won’t want to miss the big reveal of this year’s One Town, One Read title on June 13th. There will be a book giveaway and a full lineup of programs to be announced at that time.

Kids and teens, get ready for this year’s phenomenal summer reading program. The theme is “An Ocean of Possibilities”. We have many activities and prizes for all our participants. Interested in volunteering for community service hours? Plan to attend one of the two mandatory trainings. The launch of the SRP 2022 is a luau on June 16. Check our website for more details and plan to join us.

Come get your beach reads at great prices during the Friends of the Library of Brookfield book sale at the library on June 25th. The Friends will also be at the town’s Farmers’ Market every Friday, starting June 17.
