Fair Haven’s Free Library invites everyone to a starfish-studded celebrity summer

Tuesday, July 5 – FAIR HAVEN – Starting in July, Fair Haven’s Free Library invites everyone to dive in, join in, and dive into reading all summer long.

There will be celebrity storytellers, magic, reading challenges, book club discussions, music and more!

  1. The first story hour is Tuesday, July 5 with the amazing Courtney Grenier leading the way. The party starts at the library at 10 a.m. Alyx the magician will be there to entertain families the following evening, Wednesday, July 6 at 6 p.m. His family show will surely amaze the public.
  2. Tuesday, July 12 at 10 a.m. is story time with the awesome Katie Hart.
  3. Tuesday, July 19 at 10 a.m. story time with The Incredible Teann McCrea.
  4. Tuesday, July 26 is story time with the incredible Hannah Wood.
  5. On Friday August 5, Carl will be there to make us sing along with On-Tone Music. Its family program begins at 1 p.m., complete with sea shanties!

Additionally, there is a summer reading challenge for students in grades 3-12. Stop at the library to pick up a registration form. The adult challenge started at the beginning of the year will continue. You are welcome to start this challenge at any time. The adult book club continues to be a source of great discussion for its members. The Fair Haven Free Library also hosts three other of the very popular StoryWalks on the town green. The crew has once again prepared an exceptional event for everyone to enjoy. They may be picture books, but readers of all ages find them both meaningful and fun!
