New Delhi: Rajkamal Prakashan Group, India’s leading publishing house, witnessed an unprecedented response to its first-ever online book fair. Around 1.5 lakh readers from across the country and abroad attended the 16-day online book fair. This online book fair was organized at a time when the Delhi World Book Fair which was to be held in January was postponed due to the pandemic. Because of this, there was an atmosphere of despair and sadness among all book lovers. Rajkamal’s online book fair, held from January 16 to 31, brought together more than 145,000 readers from over 40 countries on a single platform. Among them were around 16,000 readers who for the first time connected with Rajkamal through this fair. Most readers came from cities like Lucknow, Delhi, Patna, Jaipur. In a historic first, readers from over 40 countries joined this show, readers from countries like America, China, UK, Canada, Nepal, UAE, France, -Bas, Turkey, Russia, Japan, Bhutan, Italy, Malaysia. , Brazil and Surinam showed great interest.
