Whether reading more is one of your New Year’s resolutions or you’re a avowed bibliophile, Linebaugh Public Library System has the program for you.
The Linebaugh System will host the third annual Harry Nelson Memorial Adult Winter Reading Program from January 23 through March 5.
Registration begins January 16.
Participants are challenged to achieve a reading and reviewing goal of at least six books during the six-week program – one book per week. All book formats are accepted and count towards the end goal.
Each week, a reviewer will be randomly selected to receive a free book.
Anyone who meets the program goal will get a Simply Pure Sweets bakery gift card in downtown Murfreesboro as well as a waiver of up to $ 5 in library fines.
There will also be a selected grand prize winner whose name will be engraved on a plaque displayed in the library.
The Harry Nelson 2022 Memorial Winter Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of Linebaugh Library. The name of the program honors the memory of one of its regular patrons, Harry Nelson.
