As the programmers at Airdrie Public Library (APL) take a well-deserved break to rest and prepare for our winter 2022 semester, we would like to share 15 books from the Essential Annual Holiday Reading List, published by the mainstay of reader-led book recommendations. , Goodreads.

We don’t necessarily support one reading list over another, and there are quite a few, but libraries have found Goodreads to rate, simply because the list reflects books that readers like.

The list includes any book if it is set during a holiday period or celebrates something about a particular holiday.
