Renovo Primary School held its annual Under the Lights Reading on Tuesday evening, giving students and their families the opportunity to lay blankets on the soccer field and enjoy family reading stations. Bucktail Area High / Middle School students volunteer each year to be readers and organizers to welcome their younger counterparts. Participants move from station to station enjoying different books from different readers, finally entering the twilight where the lights of Dwyer Memorial Field give the evening an even more fun atmosphere. Along with the family time and education that go hand in hand, one of the highlights includes the awards presented each year, capped by donations from the Renovo American Legion Post 442. Each year the Legion donates the Grand Prizes. This year, two Amazon Fire 10 HD tablets served as coveted prizes.
