Summer Reading Program Grand Prize Draw Set for September 1 | Lifestyles


Members of all ages are invited to participate in the Lompoc Library’s ‘Reading Colors Your World’ summer reading program to win fun prizes.

Each book connected to the Beanstack Tracker application is an entry in the drawing. The grand prize draw will take place on September 1st.

Only those who complete the challenges are eligible to win a prize to be collected from the Lompoc Library.

The program, which began on June 1, also offers “Take and Make” craft kits for children, teens and adults to pick up at the library, while supplies last.

Additionally, Lompoc Library announced its partnership with Page Turner Adventures, where attendees will have the opportunity to earn animal-themed badges every week of this month.

Program participants will travel through the “Once Upon a Time Machine” for virtual adventures based on themes such as backyard friends, fish stories, pet friends and famous creatures.

Each weekly theme includes five videos of professionally produced shows, author interviews, virtual tours and craft projects.

Those who have participated in previous reading programs with the Lompoc Library can access their Beanstack account to register.
