HAYDEN, ID. — The Friends of Community Libraries Network is hosting its annual two-day book sale this weekend.

From 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, people can sell their new or lightly used books at a reduced price. The books cover a variety of topics, ranging from adult, teen, kids, fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, crafts/art, gardening, and special editions of books. New book topics added this year include railroad history, Native American art, World War II and aviation, sports and more.

CDs and DVDs will not be available.

“This is our first big sale since November 2019 due to COVID, so we’re very excited,” said Leslie Wilde, CLN Friends Vice President and Book Sale Chair. “There really is something for everyone in our sale. We have so much inventory collected over the past two years, I hope people will come.

Proceeds from the event will help fund future programs at other libraries in the district. The book sale takes place at the Hayden Library, located at 8385 N. Government Way.
