PORT ANGELES – The North Olympic Library System will continue its online book discussion groups throughout December.
Participants must register on www.nols.org to receive the link to the free Zoom meetings.
⢠The second Tuesday book discussion group will meet at 11 am on Tuesday, December 8 to discuss âThe Overstoryâ by Richard Powers.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Library.
In January, the group will discuss “Brooklyn” by Colm Toibin.
⢠The second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 pm on Saturday December 12 to discuss âMozart’s Starlingâ by Lyanda Lynn Haupt.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Library.
The group will discuss âThe Sympathizerâ by Viet Thanh Nguyen in January.
⢠The Novel Conversations focus group will meet on Wednesday December 16 at 4:00 pm to talk about âThe Friendâ by Sigrid Nunez.

The group plans to discuss âThe Toss of a Lemonâ by Padma Viswanathan in January.
⢠The Wednesday Night Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 16 to discuss âThe Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Natureâ by J. Drew Lanham.

Their January selection is âA Gentleman in Moscowâ by Amor Towles.
