STEUBENVILLE – The following programs and activities are offered by the Steubenville and Jefferson County Public Library in its various locations:

An online program allows viewers to watch the library’s virtual worm race Monday at 11 a.m. on the YouTube channel, PLSJ. After the virtual race, the grand prize winners will be announced for the library’s Throwback Summer Reading Challenge.

The book club will meet on July 28 at 10:30 am to discuss “The Barbizon” by Paulina Bren. Call the library to register.

Family Recovery Center will present “Manage feelings” to preschool to first grade children on July 27 at 11 a.m. “It is also a stressful year for children” noted Jennifer Cesta, the library’s public relations coordinator. “This program is designed to help children deal with their emotions through fun activities.

The Thriller Book Club will meet for discussion on July 27 at 6 p.m. ET. Call to join.
